This page explains what this website does with your information (very little) and what ADI Leak Detection does with your details when you get in touch. Last updated 15 September 2026.
Who is responsible
This website, lettingagentleakdetection.co.uk, is operated by ADI Leak Solutions Ltd, trading as ADI Leak Detection, company number 15870765, registered in England and Wales. Letting Agent Leak Detection is a specialist service from ADI Leak Detection, and ADI is the data controller for any information you give it. What this website collects
This site has no enquiry form, no account and no chat widget. It sets no cookies of its own and does not use analytics, advertising pixels or embedded third-party content. Fonts and images are served with this website. We do not load third-party fonts, advertising or analytics scripts.
This website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare processes technical request information, including IP addresses, requested pages and browser information, to deliver the website and protect it from abuse. Cloudflare operates a global network, so this information may be processed outside the UK. We do not use this information for advertising or visitor profiling. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy for its processing, retention and international transfer information.
We have not enabled optional analytics or advertising cookies. Cloudflare may use essential security cookies when checking suspicious traffic; its cookie documentation explains when these are used. There is no optional tracking consent banner. If optional tracking is added, this notice and the relevant controls will be updated.
Links to other websites
This site links to ADI Leak Detection's profile on Trustpilot, and some guides link to published guidance from a boiler manufacturer and insurers. Those are separate companies with their own privacy policies and cookies, which apply once you follow the link.
When you call ADI
To give you a quote and book an appointment, ADI needs certain details from you. In most cases that is your name or your company's name, the address of the property, a billing or postal address, a telephone number, an email address, the name and number of the person who will be at the property (often the tenant), and payment card details when a booking is confirmed. Where a letting agent or managing agent books on behalf of a landlord, ADI prefers to take payment details directly from the party paying.
ADI uses this information to provide the service, to send the report and invoice, to communicate with you and the contacts at the property during the job, to answer questions afterwards, to identify properties it has worked at before, and to take payment. It does not sell or trade your information and does not use it for unsolicited marketing.
ADI may share details in a small number of cases: with other tradespeople who can help resolve the leak, with your permission; with an insurer, at the insurer's request, to explain the work carried out or its cost; with its payment provider, to process a payment; where it is necessary to comply with the law or to deal with a legal claim; and in the event of an accident or incident on site.
Calls to ADI's office numbers, including the number on this site, are recorded for quality and training purposes.
How long ADI keeps information
ADI keeps information for as long as it is needed to provide the service. Because leak investigations at the same property often need to be cross-referenced years later, customer names, addresses and the corresponding reports may be kept on file for a number of years unless you ask for them to be deleted. Information is held in ADI's password-protected company database on a secure server and is not printed unless you ask for a report or invoice by post.
Your rights
You can ask ADI for a copy of the personal information it holds about you, ask for it to be corrected, and ask for it to be deleted except where it is needed to deal with a legal claim. Deleting information may mean ADI cannot provide, or has to suspend, its service to you. To exercise any of these rights, contact ADI using the details above. If you are unhappy with how your information has been handled, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
ADI's full privacy statement
The full ADI Leak Solutions Ltd privacy statement, which covers ADI's other websites and services, is available from the office on request by phone before you book. Where the two differ, the full statement applies to the service you receive from ADI.
